Team Walks Off Field

When a player was ordered off the field by the referee, the Te Arolia College Old Boys senior Rugby team walked off the field 21 minutes before full time in its match with Waihi Athletic at Waihi on Saturday. The player was the first five- 1 eighths P. Bentley, who was ! sent from the field by the 1 referee, Mr D. H. Watson, for repeatedly questioning the I referee’s decisions. 1 At this stage Waihi Ath- ! letic was leading by 21 points < to 5 after leading 15-5 at halftime. i The game was very keenly 1 contested and Mr Watson was I maintaining a firm control. :
