Two Tourists Sent Off

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Two players from the champion Sydney under 21 Rugby League club, South Sydney, were ordered off in their game against an Auckland under 21 team at Carlaw Park yesterday. Auckland won, 17-9. The two ordered off were the half-back, J. K. Bowen, and the front row forward, J. E. Barrett. They attended a judicial committee meeting after the match and were severely cautioned. Outbreaks of fighting spoiled a game that often looked full of promise. Only 18 minutes after the kick-off a battle developed in which nearly every player was involved. During the remainder of the game there were many more tussles, but none as serious as the first.
