(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. Lord Cheval, winner of the Avondale Futurity Handicap on the first day of the Avondale Jockey Club’s winter meeting on Saturday, June 29, has a returned a positive to a urine test. The club secretary, Mr M. Rawson, was advised of this yesterday by the racing conference. This is the first racing posi tive of 1968 and the third of the 1967-68 season, which ends on July 31. Lord Cheval is a two-year-old colt trained at Kumeu by J C. Sparnon, who races him in partnership with Mr T. H. Heywood.
