Market Easier At Close
New Zealand shares were easier as New Zealand stock exchanges ceased trading for the week yesterday. Leaders also declined. The
overseas list was about in balance. Trading was heavy over a wide range.
N.Z. Petroleum had again the best rise in the list, up 20c to 370 c, a rise of 60c for the week. Skellerup Industries rose 15c to 590 c. Harvey, Fletcher, New Zealand Refrigerating and U.E.B. Industries also improved. B.H.P. recovered 20c to sell at 2580 c.
i New Zealand falls were nari row. J. Wattie Canneries, New • Zealand Breweries, N.Z. Fori est Products, New Zealand Re- , fining, N.Z. Sea Products, ■ Rothmans and Winstone were • easier. Mount Isa Mines lost 50c to I 850 c, and A.N.Z. Bank sold down 15c to 1000.
