Rep. Match Is Buller’s 75th
The Buller Rugby Union will have a new attraction, Buller v. Canterbury, for its seventy-fifth anniversary celebrations, which are now to be held on September 13, 14 and 15. The celebrations were to have been held over the Queen’s Birthday holiday, but the earthquakes caused a postponement Now the programme has been confined to three days, starting with the ball at Hector on the Friday. The proposed Middlesex Cup seven-a-side tournament has been cancelled. There had only been one outside nomination for the event, when arranged for Queen’s Birthday.
