Pedestrian Killed

A retired insurance company manager was killed when he was struck by a car on the Main North Road outside the Belfast Post Office last evening. The police have not released his name because his relatives in the North Island have not yet been informed.

The driver of the car was Mr J. E. Hancox, of Belfast. The police are seeking witnesses of the accident and ask that anyone who can help them in their inquiries should get in touch with them.
