(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON.

Indonesia’s world • ranking Über Cup women’s badminton team will compete in the New Zealand championship in Dunedin late next month.

The six members are expected to include the runner-up in this year’s AU-England singles and the second-ranker women in the world, Miss Minarni. The Indonesians will compete in the singles and doubles at the championships, and will afterwards fly to Masterton for the Über Cup tie against New Zealand on September 7. Indonesia beat New Zealand, 7-0, in Auckland on June 19, 1965, in the first round of the last Über Cup series, before going on to be beaten, 5-2, in the inter-zone finals by the present holder, Japan.
