Burnside Ball
The third annual ball of the Burnside High School Expupils' Association was held at the Hei Hei Country Club. More than 350 guests attended. Mr D. W. Street, the president of the association, welcomed the guests, who included the principal of Burnside High School (Mr C. Cross) and Mrs Cross, and members of the staff. The bait committee was Mr B. Hitchon (immediate pastpresident of the association), Mr S. Leek, Miss J. Turner and Miss A. Hamilton.
