Table Tennis Change
Miss J. Stead has been included in the Canterbury table tennis team to defend the Jarvis Rosebowl against Otago at Dunedin next Saturday. She replaces Mrs J. Prisk, who is not available to travel.
The team, selected by Messrs T. R. D. Flint. A. B. McCallum and R. G. Hart, is the same as that which beat Wellington and Hutt Valley, apart from the inclusion of Miss Stead. It is:
Men: Ling Nan Ming, J. Armstrong, V. N. Brightwell and M. R. Spinks. Women: Mesdames T. May. J. G. Green, Y. Boulton and Miss Stead.
The following boys have been chosen for the South Island final of the New Zealand junior teams' championship against Otago at Dunedin next Saturday:—?. Steere, C. Samson and T. Fraser.
A girls team to play Otago has also been chosen but this is not for the junior championship. Canterbury has already won its way to the national finals. The girls’ team is:—M. Bell. A. Rich and D. Rassie.
