Richmond Still Leads Billiards

Richmond consolidated its two* point lead in the Canterbury A grade billiards championship when it beat Kaiapoi, 3-0. in the twelth round.

The teams closest to Richmond, R.S.A. and Post Office, had a close tussle before R.S.A. won. 2-1. E. Simons (Post Office) was the only unbeaten player after 12 rounds. E. Greaves 200) beat Kaiapoi 0 (W. Adams 121, W. Burney 99. D. Hobday 128); New Brighton 2 <B. Kirkness 200, J. Hammond 200. N. Thomas 180) beat Woolston II 1 (H. Mason 164, R. Higgs 169, E. Hensell 200).
