Rotary Club Gifts
The Christchurch East Rotary Club yesterday voted that gifts of $lOO each be given to the Reefton and Westport club, for earthquake relief. The West Coast clubs had advised, after they had been offered help, that cash would be the most useful gift. Officers elected were:— president, Mr C. W. A. Randall; vice-president, Mr M. H. West; immediate past president, Mr K. R. H. Neville; secretary, Mr W. V. Dawson; treasurer, Mr J. M. L. Cockburn; directors, Messrs R. O. Hooker, C. W. Dale, and J. L. Ritchie.
