DEMONSTRATION IN DUNEDIN

DUNEDIN, June 26.
A mass demonstration by students and others over New Zealand’s involvement with the United States in the formation of an Omega navigational station in the South Island has been planned in Dunedin.
Application has been made to the Dunedin City Council to hold the demonstration in the Octagon at 8 p.m. on Friday.
The participants in the demonstration will be students, university staff members, and some members of the general public. The demonstration will be the culmination of two days of activity by students and staff members, who are handing out 10,000 copies of a special issue of the Canter-

Auckland Students Auckland University students will march in the city on Friday in protest at suggestions to establish the Omega station.
