Order From Fiji

The Fiji Military Forces have ordered teleradio packsets designed and manufactured in New Zealand. The packset was chosen after evaluation in tropical conditions and in competition with equipment from world-wide sources. It was originally designed to meet a New Zealand requirement for a light, portable, high-frequency radiotelephone for the Search and Rescue Organisation. Since it went into production more than a year ago, the set has been adopted by national park boards, the police and other Government and private organisations.
