Strong Teams For Inter-Island Golf
Teams of considerable strength have been chosen to represent the North and South Islands in a junior golfing societies’ contest at Windsor and Waitildri on June 1 and 2.
Among the competitors will be the internationals, G. E. Clarke (Otago) and Misses W. Bryant and G. Taylor (both of Waikato). Two members of the 1968 New Zealand women’s squad, Misses M. Ensor (Canterbury) and H. Mowat (Manawatu), will be in»the field, as well as a number of Freyberg Rosebowl and Russell Grace Cup players.
