Riccarton Trip

“The Press” Special Service INVERCARGILL. D V. Pankhurst intends to campaign Celtic Chief, Capasco, and Waterfront at the Canterbury Jockey Club's meeting at Biccarton on Tuesday. Celtic Chief and Waterfront will race at the Southland meeting at Invercargill on Saturday. But Capasco was not paid up for. the weight he received influencing Pankhurst to reserve him for Riccarton. M. J. Lawson is likely to ride all three at Riccarton. R. F. Pankhurst will race the maiden Yankee Doodle at Riccarton and at Invercargill on Saturday. Pankhurst has decided against racing Chango at Riccarton and the Kurdistan gelding will start next in the Birthday Handicap at Wingatui at Queen s Birthday week-end. It is possible that Chango will race tn a North Island campaign if he performs well at Wingatui.
