HOME DESTROYED BY FIRE.—AII that refrained of a small home In Otaki Street, Kalapoi, after It was destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. The owner, Mr K. Wade, was not home when the alarm was given at 1.30 p.m. When the two units of the Kalapoi Volunteer Fire Brigade arrived, the building was blazing and could not be saved. The cause of the fire is not known.
