Competitions End
A demonstration concert ended the Waimate Competitions Society’s Festival last week. After the concert, the society’s president (Mr A. Deadmarsh) thanked all concerned. More than 70 trophies and prizes were presented by the society’s patron (Mr W. F. Boland), assisted by Mrs Boland and Mrs Deadmarsh.
Results of the final session were:—
St. Patrick’s Wall Dance, 6 and under, other than tap: Judith Kern-ahan (Oamaru) 75, 1; Lynne Currie (Timaru) 74, 2.
