Levy Outvoted
Delegates of the Canterbury Bowling Centre last evening voted against a suggestion that members should be levied 10c each, the proceeds to go to the New Zealand Institute of Turf Culture. It was stated that golfers were only levied 5c a head, and that bowlers already support the local turf research organisation.
