PROVISIONAL ACCEPTORS

(N Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Auckland Trotting Club yesterday named provisional fields of 11 for the Queen City Pace and National Trot finals at Alexandra Park next Saturday. The pacers will compete under invitation conditions over 13 furlongs and the trotters will contest a flying mile. Those selected are: QUEEN CITY FACE.— Abbey Frost, Atanui, Governor Frost, Humphrey, James, Loyal Knight, Miles Gentry, Milford Boy, Oakhampton, Revel Time, Viking Water. NATIONAL TROT.—Bata, Break Through, Eastern Star, French Pass, Highland Flight, Johnny Gee, Mighty Chief, Mountain Pride, Scotleigb, Single Cash, Towser. The secretary of the club, Mr J. W. Fair, said the lists were only provisional because all the entrants for the series were handicapped for the finals. If there are any withdrawals at 2 p.m. today, the club probably would add other horses.
