Nominations For Award
"The Press" Special Sereice AUCKLAND. Four mon have bean nominated for the Racing Personality of the Year award. They are the Takanlnl trainer-jockey, B. L. Hillis, the Woodville trainer, E. Roplba, the Levin jockey, W. D. Skelton, and the Auckland Trotting Club president, Mr B. Lewis. The winner is decided by some 50 racing writers throughout New Zealand. The award wm be presented at the seventh annual racing writers' dinner at Ellerslie on May 28. Previous winners of the award were Mr N. Simpson. P. T. Wolfenden, Mr J. cTpollock, M. c. £?SF*F, D. p. Wilson, and W. J. Hillis.
