BALLOT FOR SECTIONS
Eight Of 36 Not Sold Eight of the 36 Crown sections in the Bishopdale and Bryndwr areas offered for sale by ballot on Thursday by the Lands and Survey Department were not taken. There were 40 applicants. Hie chief administrative officer of the department (Mr W. O. Knight) said that the eight sections would be allotted to the first persons to apply for them. If more than one application for a section was received in one day they would be treated as simultaneous, and a ballot would be held.
The sections remaining to be sold range in price from 82750 to 83000. They are in Farrington Avenue and Harewood Road and range In area from 24 perches to 26.6 perches.
