OVERSEAS TRADING
SYDNEY Metals Exploration stood out among the nickel stock, the fully paid shares putting on 100 c to 800 c before easing back to 780 c. The contributing shares gained 50c to 750 c. The company announced today that nickel had been intersected at the Nepean prospect in the No. 2 hole located north of the No. 3 hole. Western Mining closed a shade easier at 1240 c. MELBOURNE Most nickels were up again in another firm minings market today but moves were more moderate. However, Metals Exploration made 40 to 750 after touching 790 after its report of encountering nickel on its Nepean (Western Australia) prospect. On the losing side, Western Mining and Hampton Areas each dropped 30c. Oils were steady. Murphy ores was down 9 at 390. Industrials generally continued
