Burglaries
The police yesterday received reports of burglaries committed at the week-end. Property worth $61.10 was taken from the shop of J. A. Eddington, Ltd, 203 Gloucester Street
Chickens and cash of a total value of $23 were taken from the Wainonl Butchery, Ltd, 86 Wainonl Road. In other burglaries, property worth $22.50 was taken from a North Parade home, $l5 in silver was taken from a house in Leslie Street, $2 in cash was taken from Thorpes Market 165 St Asaph Street, and cash amounting to $3 was taken from the Consumer Meat Company, Ltd, 229 Colombo Street.
Ballpoint pens worth $5.40 were taken from E. A. Jordan and Company, Ltd, 233 Durham Street
