DRIVING TEST

A test of driving ability " is described in the latest Issue of “Road Safety,” the journal of the New Zealand Road Safety Council. Place a driver in a situation where, through the carelessness of another, an accident seems inevitable, the journal says. The good driver will pull through without an accident, the poor one will be involved.

However, says the journal, there are circumstances where the ignorance, stupidity or criminal recklessness of another driver can make it almost Impossible to avoid an accident, but for each such case there are possibly 10 when an accident could be prevented through the application ;of forethought and skill.
