Celebration In Greece

Greece’s military • backed Government today celebrated the first anniversary of its seizure of power by holding a mass rally in Athens Stadium. The Prime Minister (Mr George Papadopoulos), the Regent (General George Zoitakis) and other members of the Government watched displays of Greek dancing and parachute jumping, and listened to massed choirs singing four songs composed specially for the celebration. Before the parade, General Zoitakis officially opened an exhibition showing the war history of the Greek people through the ages.
