Through The Windscreen
Sir, —After reading a recent item on your motor page I thought you might be interested to know that a bird the size of a magpie can indeed penetrate a windscreen—of a truck. The incident happened to my husband in the course of his work. The magpie ended up on the seat of the truck.—Yours, etc., (MRS) D. M. WILLS. April 23, 1968.
