(N.Z. Press Association* WELLINGTON, April 23. The Labour Party last night chose Dr G. A. Wall as candidate for the strong Labour seat of Porirua at the General Election. The seat is being vacated by Mr H. L. J. May, who will contest the new Western Hutt electorate, in which he lives. Dr Wall is Deputy Superintendent of the Wairau Hospital Board. In the last General Election he cut severely into the previously strong majority of the Minister of Labour (Mr Shand) in Marlborough.
