Officers Of C.W.I.
The Mayoress (Lady Manning) will officially open the annual meeting of the Canterbury Federation of Country Women’s Institutes to be held in Christchurch on April 24 and the Dominion president of C.W.I. will attend the council meeting of the federation in October, says a report from the federation executive.
The following officers were ; elected at recent annual meetings of C.W.I. branches in (the Canterbury federation:— Coalgate.— President. Mrs A. IJ. Knight; vice-president, Mrs :C. Green: secretary, Mrs J. [Waters; assistant-secretary, [Mrs W. Gahagan; treasurer, I Mrs S. W. Beatty: committee, Mesdames O. Hyman, M. Broughton, D. Merriman. Lake Coleridge.—President, Mrs A. Ross; secretary. Mrs J. Devonshire: committee, Mesdames R. Bryant, M. Hood, J. Mackay and S. Jones. Greendale.—President, Mrs W. McLaughlin: vice-presi-dent, Mrs G. B. Shipley; secretary, Mrs D. C. Collin: treasurer, Mrs J. G. Collin: committee, Mesdames W. Shipley, W. Nikander, M. J. Naughton.
Isleworth.— President, Mrs B. Jamison; vice-president, Mrs M. Mason: secretary, Mrs A. M. Tate: treasurer, Mrs D. Bryant; committee, Mesdames P. Balani, J. Garrod, A. Laby, A. Robinson.
