Coach Misses Huntly Course

The Canterbury regional soccer coach, Mr R. C. Carter, was a minor victim of this week’s storm. It caused him to miss the national coaching course at Huntly over the week-end.

Yesterday he was repairing the roof of his home in Burwood when he would have been flying to Huntly. The Canterbury players attending the course, aimed at preparing the New Zealand squad for the World Cup—T. Haydon, G. Davis, F. Madrussan, and D. Phillips—were able to make the journey.
