Four Kiwi Trial Teams Chosen

(New Zealand Press Association)

AUCKLAND.

The mid-field worries facing New Zealand Rugby League are revealed in the choice of two Kiwi forwards, B. S. Lee and H. R. Sinel, of Auckland, in the centre positions, in one of the teams for the northern zone trials in Auckland next Saturday.

They will appear for the Blue team against the Red side in the main match of two trials at Carlaw Park.

Lee played some fine forward games for the Kiwis in Australia five years ago, and Sinel, a member of that side and also of the New Zealand team in Australia last season, has also won his major honours as a forward. F. R Christian, regarded by many as a wing, will be playing in the centres in the Red team.

The northern zone selectors are Messrs B. Robertson and T. Newton, of Auckland, and W. O’Callaghan, of Waikato. After the zone trials next week-end, the northern and southern zone teams will be selected to meet at Davies Park, Huntly, on April 28.
