Opening Race To Paviell

A. A. Paviell just managed to beat G. R. Sword to win the Avon Amateur Cycling Club’s opening day 30-mile race at Yaldhurst on Saturday. D. Jones was the early pacesetter but could manage only fourth place in the final sprint. Results were:
