MR R. PODMORE, who has been awarded the C.F.M. Post-graduate Scholarship in Engineering. Mr Podmore was born in Bulls 20 years ago and educated at Rangitikei College, Marton. He gained his bachelor of engineering degree (electrical) at Canterbury University last year. The scholarship, which Is worth $600, is for one year’s postgraduate work at Canterbury. Mr Podmore is at present completing his master of engineering degree and intends to attempt his doctorate next year.
