Pairs Snooker Resumes

The Hornby Working Men s Club team, R. Higgs and R. Ringdahl, beat the Richmond Working Men's Club pair, W. Simons and E. Dalmau, by three frames to two when the pairs challenge snooker competition resumed after a break of two months.

In the first frame R. Ringdahl made a good 32 break on his second visit to the table. No exceptional form was shown by anyone in the remaining frames.

Hornby’s second defence will be against the Kaiapoi Working Men's Club team, W. Adams and W. Burney.
