Milford Boy Wins Stakes At Auckland
(N.I. Presa Association) AUCKLAND. The Pukakoha feur-year-eld Milford Boy gave easily his best performance to date when he won the All Aged Stakes at Alexandra Park on Saturday night. After receiving a perfect trail to the straight. Milford Boy challenged the favourite, llilea Gentry, put a couple of lengths on hia much more tightly assessed rival in a few strides and held his advantage to the line. Gipsy Hanover finished strongly to cut Terraton, the best of the three-year-olds, out of third. The All Aged Stakes was the first leg of the Auckland Trotting Club’s T.A.B. double. The second leg, the Member’s Handicap, was won comfortably by the second favourite, Inferno. Bata and Paid, both at good odds, took second and third.
