Rival Vessel Takes Over

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, March 13. A cargo of containers for the Northern Steam Ship Company’s roll-on freighter Seaway Princess will now be loaded on the rival vessel, the Union Steam Ship Company’s Hawea. The Seaway Princess returned to port this morning, for the second time in nine days, with engine trouble. Only a few hours after leaving Auckland she developed what is believed to be a recurrence of an earlier engine fault which kept her in port last week. The container cargo is for Lyttelton.
