GAINS FOR Y-BOYS
The brilliant New Zealand guard, C. Morris, will play for Y-Boys in the Canterbury A grade competition this season. His pre-
sence should strengthen Y-Boys considerably and Increase its chances of offering some stem competition to the top teams of previous seasons, University A and Y.M.C.A. Morris played for University B last season. He toured Australia with the New Zealand team in 1966 and last season played for New Zealand invitation teams on several occasions. He will again be a leading contender for the national side this season. K. Nicholson is another prominent player who will be turning out for Y-Boys. A former Southland representative, he has played in Australia and although he rested last season has the ability to do well if he applies himself diligently.
