Display Of Flowers
The director of the Royal Horticultural Society garden at Wisley, Surrey (Mr F. P. Knight), will open the Canterbury Horticultural Society’s sponsored display in its buildings this afternoon. - The display has been arranged in conjunction with the Pan Pacific Arts Festival and has as its theme, “New Zealand-Made.”
Mr Knight, who has been on tt lecture tour in New Zealand since February 17, will give the first M. R. Barnett Memorial Lecture in the Horticultural Hall on Friday evening. The lecture, illustrated by colour slides, is on training of student-gardeners at Edinburgh, Kew and Wisley.
