MAGISTRATE’S COURT Men Remanded Copper Wire
William Corcoran, aged 35, was remanded in custody until March 5 when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday on a charge of receiving. An application for bail was heard in chambers. Mr E. S. J. Crutchley, S.M., was on the bench. Corcoran and Kevin Thomas Barrett, aged 24, a contractor’s workman, have both been charged with receiving 16 coils of copper wire valued
at $2BBO, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, at Clarkville on or about February 26. Barrett was allowed bail. No plea was taken. Mr N. G. Hattaway appeared for both accused..
