Nine Horses Qualify
Nine out of 50 horses quailfled to race at totalisator meetings when they paced a mile and a half in 3min 21sec or better at race trials held by the Canterbury Trotting Owners* and Breeders’ Association at Addington Raceway yesterday.
The most impressive qualifiers were Selection, a four-year-old Goodlands mare which is raced by her Belfast trainer, C. S. Donald, and Top Row, a six-year-old Stormyway gelding which D. J. Townley prepares for Mesdames M. Hogan and A. Townley. Results:—
