Retirement
Mr John Stewart, advertising manager of the “New Zealand Home Journal,” will retire on March 31 after 42 years in advertising. He has spent 31 years with the journal, and was associate editor for a number of years. Mr Stewart has had a long association with Te Wai Pounamu College, and has been president of the Christchurch branch and a Dominion councillor of Heritage. He is chairman of the postal committee of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce.
