Kenwyn Avenue Best Street
Entries in the competition, organised by the Christchurch Beautifying Association, were almost double those of last year. Eighty streets were entered this year and the judges said the standard was exceptionally high. Many streets, with the addition of some colour to their already neat outside lawns, could easily participate in future awards, the organiser (Mr E. J. Holm) said yesterday.
