Asian Youth Help

The possibility of sending a young person to Asia or bringing an Asian or a group of young Asians to New Zealand for agricultural training is being investigated by the Catholic Youth Movement in Christchurch. The subject arose when members attending a leadership course at Rochester Hall were discussing the responsibility of a Christian in the Western world. Father P. J. Crawford, chaplain of the movement, said yesterday that although the country from which the student would come had not yet been decided, the country featured in the discussion had been India. The group will meet again in about two months to review what members have done towards the project.
