The multiple world record holder, R. W. Clarke, of Australia, who will race over a mile at Rugby Park today, is in outstanding form, if his recent performances in Australia are any indication. On December 8 he recorded a mile in 4min 7.4 sec and followed it up on December 13 with three miles tn 13min 14sec. On December 17 he ran two miles in Bmin 33sec, and two days later six miles in 27min 21.6 sec, the best time in the world for 1967. On December 27 he ran a mile in 4min 3.lsec.
