Axeman Cuts Leg
(From Our Own Reporter) GREYMOUTH. One of the West Coast’s leading axemen, R. Dickson, suffered a severe leg injury when competing at the Nelson Creek sports on Sunday. While he was preparing a log for an underhand event, his axe slipped and gashed his leg. He was taken to the Grey Hospital where the wound required 46 stitches. Dickson had been selected as a reserve to take part in New Zealand trials at Nelson next week-end. *
