Senior Cricket In Other Centres

DUNEDIN University suffered its first loss of the season in dismal weather on Saturday. Northeast Valley took first innings points from the students and at one stage of the game looked as if it could have University follow on. Results:

North-east Valley 242 and 47/2 declared, beat University 151 (C. Recordon 51; R. W. Haley 6/67) and 96/4, on the first innings.

Grange 201/7 declared beat Kaikorai 112 and 99/6, on the first innings. Dunedin 233/3 declared (R. Hendry 80 not out, K. O. Campbell 67 not out, G. B. Inglis 50) beat Albion 119 and 104/5 (F. J. Cameron 5/22) on the first innings.
