AUSTRALIAN HARVESTER

Test At Tai Tapu A header harvester designed and built in Australia was tested and demonstrated at Tai Tapu yesterday by the chief product specialist for Australia of International Harvester (Mr J. E. Radford). About 30 dealers from Otago and Canterbury watched the demonstration. Mr Radford said that in the past the company’s harvesters had been imported to New Zealand from Canada and the United States. A change to Australia as a source of supply could mean delivery in a week instead of several months. Mr Radford said the Australian harvester was expected to be available in New Zealand for the next harvest
