Stallion For Washdyke
(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON. An imported stallion, Grey William, will join Jekyll at the Strathconan Stud at Washdyke next season. A son of Grey Sovereign, twice champion English sire of two-year-olds, Grey William has been standing at D. H. Mackenzie's Kempton Park Stud at Putaruru. Gold Sovereign, 'another son of Grey Sovereign, met with immediate success as a sire in the North Island.
