I. Beverley To Play Fairlie
(N.Z. Press Association) MASTERTON. The New Zealand men’s singles champion, B. E. Fairlie (Auckland), will meet I. Beverley (Waikato) in Mastertou today to decide the Wairarapa lawn tennis title. Yesterday Beverley beat J Souter (Wellington) in straight sets after a struggle and later accounted for the New South Wales representative, J. Wakefield, also in straight sets. The women’s title will be decided between the New South Wales visitor, Miss V. Ode, and Miss S. Collins (Southland).
