A NEW TYPE OF LAWNMOWER designed on the principle of the hovercraft. It is petrol-driven, has no wheels, and travels on a cushion of air. The photograph on the left shows a hovercraft lawnmover cutting grass on a steep slope by the Round Tower at Windsor Castle. The photograph was taken by Mr V. C. Browne, of Christchurch, who visited England recently. In the other picture, Mr Browne is seen using a similar mower on a lawn at his home in Dyers Pass Road.
