Bright Girl

An 11-year-old girl who speaks five languages, touchtypes, writes shorthand and tackles mathematical equations that make adults quake has settled with her German father in Melbourne. She Is Shlgeko Yajima. She arrived with her father, Dr Shigi Yajima, by ship earlier this week to settle in Australia. Dr Yajima has accepted a position as a physical education teacher with the Victorian Education Department. The girl was born in Japan of a Japanese mother and German father. Her father, Who was born In East Germany, wag adopted by a Japanese couple when a boy. He took custody of Shlgeko after he and his wife were divorced.
